Join the Movement for Farmed Animals

We envision a world in which eating is an act of compassion and all animals are respected, protected, and free.

Our mission to end factory farming requires us to be bold, courageous, and committed in our activism. The future of farmed animals, people, and our planet relies on a powerful movement that holds governments and corporations accountable. And it requires strong volunteer communities rooted in shared values and compassion.

Whether we’re influencing social and cultural norms, moving decision-makers to create lasting changes, or advancing our movement, we are stronger together. Join our volunteer community and be a driving force in the fight for farmed animals!

Building a Powerful Movement

We are united in our vision of a world without industrial animal agriculture.

We recognise that this mission is massive, and it involves taking on powerful institutions, decision-makers, and interests. It means we must defy the status quo and disrupt business as usual—all while demonstrating that change is possible. This is why we organise.

Our people are our power. We meet institutional power with grassroots resourcefulness, creativity, and determination. By forming strong communities, developing leadership and skills, and taking consistent action, we’re building the movement that will end factory farming.

What We Do

Mercy For Animals volunteers engage in a variety of activities focused on building community, developing leaders, and taking action for animals.

Building Community

Creating a vast and powerful movement starts with cultivating meaningful relationships. We cannot achieve the change we desire without first finding connection and shared values and building strong, interconnected communities. We take time to develop one-on-one and group relationships, create shared experiences, and invest in community care.

Fostering Development

A movement is only as strong as its people. We incorporate opportunities for individual and collective learning to build confidence and skills to effectively organise others to join our efforts. We prioritise learning through practice, experimentation, and peer coaching.

Taking Action

We organise to drive change. Through strategy and consistent action, we move lawmakers and corporations to adopt policies that drive meaningful progress towards our vision of a world where animals are respected, protected, and free. We are committed to sharing responsibility in taking and leading actions for farmed animals.
