Take Action to End Battery Cages in India

Section 11(1)(e) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, prohibits confining animals in cages that do not allow for reasonable movement, with penalties including fines and possible imprisonment for repeat offences. Battery cages, which severely limit hens’ movement, clearly violate this law. Urge the authorities to enforce the Act and ban battery cages today!
