Mercy For Animals India Inspires Colleges to Offer Plant-Based Drinks in Cafeterias

Mercy For Animals India is excited to share a recent success in our ongoing efforts to create a kinder world for animals by promoting cruelty-free, plant-based food.

We have successfully convinced two prestigious educational institutions, Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET) and the International Management Institute Delhi (IMI), to replace dairy products with plant-based drinks. This is a significant step in promoting plant-based alternatives on college campuses, helping students align their food choices with a compassionate and healthy lifestyle.

Our journey began at NIET, where we engaged with faculty to discuss the benefits of plant-based foods. This discussion led to a collaboration with GoGrab, a leading vending machine supplier, to introduce plant-based options for students through its machines at NIET.

Seeing the potential for broader impact, we approached Go Grab and Only Earth to discuss the rising demand for plant-based products and their positive effects on animal welfare, sustainability, and health. Following our conversation, both brands agreed to offer plant-based cold coffee in vending machines at IMI as well.

This achievement reflects how open dialogue and collaboration with institutions and brands can drive meaningful change. We look forward to expanding these initiatives across more campuses and continuing to promote plant-based lifestyles in educational settings. This is just the beginning of creating a more compassionate future!
